Los ni\u00f1os de 8 a\u00f1os y menores necesitan alrededor de 3 a 5 porciones. Al menos la mitad de las porciones deben ser de granos integrales<\/p>\n<p>Verduras: procure que la mitad de su plato sea de frutas y verduras. La mayor\u00eda de los ni\u00f1os y los adultos deben comer entre 2 y 3 tazas (200 a 300 gramos) de verduras al d\u00eda. Los ni\u00f1os de 8 a\u00f1os necesitan m\u00e1s o menos de 1 a 1 1\/2 tazas (100 a 150 gramos).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Frutas: procure que la mitad de su plato sea de frutas y verduras. La mayor\u00eda de los adultos necesita 1 1\/2 a 2 tazas (200 a 250 gramos) de fruta al d\u00eda.
